The holidays are a time for family, giving thanks, and some wintery fun under a blanket of twinkling lights, mistletoe, and even some snow! And Bartlett is no different.
The famed Texas town is known for its extraordinary past, dipped in railroad pioneers, attempted bank robberies, and innovative lumberyards. Over the years, Bartlett became a ghost town but, with our efforts, has since been reshaped into a beautifully restored town that still holds many of its original historic features.
Visitors come from all over the state to stay in this historic town and catch a glimpse of its stunning winter wonderland. In fact, one Bartlett establishment has had a sprinkling of the holiday spirit just this month. The Bartlett National Bank, a beloved resting place for many travelers, was recently transformed for a bit of movie magic.
I don’t know about you, but it looks like it was a jolly, good time!
And this isn’t the first time the Bartlett National Bank or the town itself has been in Hollywood’s spotlight. Many films have laid their eyes on the “town where time stopped” as a shooting destination, such as ‘The Stars Fell on Henrietta’ and “The Newton Boys.” Since the Bartlett Bank’s restorations and transformation into a one-of-a-kind Airbnb experience, it has also been used by many of its visitors as a source of inspiration and family fun!
