Due to the cotton bust, the First National Bank had to shut down. We have been fortunate to collect original treasures from the Bartlett National Bank and this old antique shipping crate for the adding machine from the Burroughs Adding Machine Company is a true treasure! Donated by Mr. Cox, the great-great-grand nephew of the original Mr. Cox, who was the cashier here during the time it shut down. The adding machine is now on display for our guests who book a night to stay.
